My current plan for the bookstore/coffee shop is that there will be bookshelves lining the walls...each of those will contain books (for sale, of course) that I or someone I trust has read. That won't be limited to books in the Christian genre--there will also be classics and modern, well-written books--but they will all be appropriate. The kitchen, where we will bake cookies and other goodies, and make coffee, will be in the center of the room. This way we can interact with those in the shop, no matter where they are. There will be comfy chairs around the room, and at least one fireplace to keep warm by. The tables will have paper, pens, and pencils, for those wonderful bursts of inspiration we writers have. Every book in the shop will be available for you to come in and read, even if you choose not to buy. Treat the book as your own: be gentle. We will also have copies of Ink & Fairydust, as well as other books Rivershore Books has published, available to read or purchase. What else does this place need? My goal is for it to become a haven for authors and readers: a safe, comforting, inspirational place.

This place sounds amazing. Hmm...I can't think of anything else it would need right off the bat, but I'll have you know that a certain member of my family wants to work there.

Absolutely! You and Catherine can be my lead bakers. I have these adorable little cake displays that hold mini cakes. Methinks it would be awesome if we could offer those. (I have a couple pans.) I only figured out carrot cake so far, but I'll do some more experimenting. (Tweaking a recipe for it is all math...not my favorite.)

Somewhere in the twin cities (MN). I'm looking at Roseville, specifically, but we'll see where Papa opens a place for us.
