Laurena took the chocolate. "Thanks." She popped it in her mouth and fell silent.

Eli hobbled into the elevator, still a little unsteady on his crutches. He stopped as he saw people were singing. He looked for a way out, but the doors had already closed; he resigned himself to shuffling into a corner and being as unsociable as he could be. (I'm still a little unsteady with Eli.. I usually write him from first person perspective, so it should be fun transferring it to third person.

Kateri nodded at the boy who just came in and walked towards him. "Hello, my name is Kateri. What's yours?

Rosie stopped singing. "I shall just have to think of something else fun to entertain us, then. No problem!"

Adrian walked over to the slumped over boy in the corner. "Having fun?" he asked sarcastically, "I wish all these little girls would be quiet!"

The elevator jolted, then shuddered to a halt once again. Eli sighed, and turned to the person next to him. "Not particularly," he said. He faced Kateri, extended his hand and said, "Eli Sayers. Nice to meet you."

Luke turned to the boy (Adrian). "This is worse then when my little sister had a slumber party," he said, huffing.

Eli looked at Kateri. "Well enough, thanks. I think we're stuck, though." He turned to Luke. "Really? I've heard slumber parties can be worse than anything."

Luke smiled, slightly. "They are horrible. Especially when it's a pack of 20 nine year olds who have had too much caffeine." He chuckled.

Kateri rolled her eyes, "you think 9 year olds are bad? try a group of 15 year old girls who have had WAY too much coke. I don't even see how people drink that stuff, its liquid sugar." She pulled a face, "I prefer water."

Luke shrugged. "All girls are crazy. I prefer water too, but sometimes you HAVE to have something fizzy. Organic soda isn't that bad."

Kateri tilted her head, "Hey, I'm 15, crazy at times, and proud of it. Wouldn't you rather be crazy than as boring as a brick?" she winked, "and I have never had Organic Soda before, I'll have to try it."

"Hey, boring people can have fun sometimes!" He smiled. "Not saying I'm boring or anything, I'm really quite awesome." He smirked.
