Mira moved to the right side of the elevator, not as much unwilling to join in as she was terrified to. The girl just had to choose her side, didn't she? Now people would notice her. More people, anyway. Or maybe she'd get lucky and they'd all be too busy to even care. She hurried to the other side and frowned as she realized the corners were already occupied. An open spot against the wall would have to suffice.

(Sure!)
Benedict took a look around, "Where would I find fresh basil?" He hated to shop, but today he was getting ingredients to surprise his girlfriend with a birthday dinner. He looked about the fresh vegetables and turned to see if it was over there. Upon taking a step backward, he trod on someone's foot.

Chrissy let out a small squeak as the man in front of her backed onto her foot. She covered her mouth in embarrassment at her reaction, then smiled widely to reassure the man she was okay.

Lacy walked along the aisle, looking for ingredients you would make a cake with. "You should try and bake, he said. Huh. Ovens hate me. This cake will turn out horrible," she mumbled. But, she would at least try and surprise her new husband with a fabulous cake that she made.

Mikie felt the sign with his right hand; baking products. That was just what he needed. When he got back Marietta would make a cake. He put his stick in front of him and tapped his way down the aisle. He stopped, sensing someone in front of him. "Could you tell me if I'm about to run into you?" he said shyly.

Delaney turned around in surprise. "No, no, you're fine." She looked at the stick in puzzlement, then something clicked. She said politely: "Is there anything you'd like me to get down from the shelves for you?"

Benedict laughed hesitantly, "I am so sorry, my mom keeps telling me I should watch where I am going. My name is Benedict by the way."

"Icing! Perfect!" Lacy exclaimed, then looked around to see if anyone had heard her exclamation. There was only a young woman and a boy. She smiled, then grabbed 2 things of icing and put them in her cart.

"Um...I don't know," Mikie stammered, "Am I anywhere near the flour or vanilla?" It was all so confusing. He'd been here so many times, but this was the first time they would let him come alone. They said now that he was thirteen he could find his own way around.
