I've seen the 1995 version of Sense and Sensibility but haven't seen the BBC version so I can't say really which version I like better.

I actually haven't seen that version of Emma yet... I've been meaning to ever since it came out! Probably simply because it was the first version I saw, I'm partial to the overly long Pride & Prejudice... it follows the book much more closely, too (naturally...it's hard to fit the whole book into two hours ). But I looove that version of Sense & Sensibility!

I've seen the long version of P&P once and I'd have to see it again before I decided on whether or not I liked it.

There are actually two long versions of P and P...and by BBC, too, to make things more confusing heh. Most people are more aware of the Colin Firth version, though. I enjoyed that one, but...in "my" version, David Rintoul just IS Darcy heh...almost scarily so lol. It is also very close to the book in both details and the general Austen-esque feel to the movie.

My bro took me to see The Avengers tonight! He's so nice... his work is having a free showing of it this Friday (yes, I wish I worked there too), and he didn't want to see it the first time without me. It's awesome. I can't decide who my favorite character is! But I think it's Stark...he's hilarious.

I'm going to see Avengers THIS FRIDAY!!!!! Batman Begins is really good! So is the Dark Knight, though it's a little more on the gruesome side. I just love Batman all together, I've seen the first ones, the really corny ones. Batman and Batman returns (Michael Keaton), Batman and Robin (Val Kilmer) and Batman Forever (George Clooney). Those ones are super corny, but pretty funny, though I hate Batman Returns, really hate that one. Batman's the best out of the originals. But the two new Batmen movies are really good! I'm excited about the newest one, though a little nervous. I hope they don't screw anything up with it, I hear Anne Hathway isn't what she used to be. And I've heard stories about how Christian Bale isn't either. I just hope they don't screw it up.

Hehe I loved Batman and Robin! Robin was too cute. I liked Batman Begins but Dark Knight....I've seen once and I'm not sure I could watch it again. I'm not easily freaked out, but that one just doesn't sit well with me.

"Holy rusted metal Batman!" "What?" "This island's made of metal, and it's rusting and full of holes. Holey?" "Oh." Yeah, Dark Knight definitely is more disturbing, I tend to like scaring the heck out of myself, so I'm okay with it. Though I've only seen one movie that ACTUALLY scared me, and that was Sixth Sense, a truely scary movie, I've only seen it once, but I REALLY want to see it again!!
