Maybe you and Meggy could use the computer together. Sign in with one name and take turns typing. Maybe we could do 8 or 8:30, instead of 9. now that could work

Mmk... so let's say starting at 8, but people can come and go as they're able. Fridays tend to be bad for me, and Thursdays can go either way. If I do ballet in the fall Thursdays are completely out, though. But that wouldn't be until September. So, our options: Tuesday Wednesday Thursday (someone else could take over on the days I'm busy) Sunday

Do you think we will want to do this more than once a week? or would that be too much.

I'm thinking a specifically brainstorm session once a week (for titles, plot, character names, specific scenes, or whatever else people are having trouble with at that time), and a general writing chat once a week (to just talk about how writing is going, our celebrations or frustrations, or anything else). So I'm thinking to start, we'll have scheduled chats twice a week... but I'm not opposed to adding more--and of course everyone is welcome, at any point, to say 'I need a chat session ASAP' and whoever can come on will. (In fact, methinks I'll make a thread for that very purpose...) Does that make sense?

Great! I made the thread to request an emergency chat. I'm going to suggest we do either Tuesday and Thursday or Wednesday and Sunday--just to space the days out a little. Does that sound good? And does anyone have a preference?

I think that Tuesday and Thursday would be good. but either set works for me.

I think the Tuesday/Thursday combination works better for me. And if no one else has volunteered, I could be your backup person for the days you can't make it.

Mmk--Tuesday/Thursday it is! (Unless someone has a major conflict with that--in which case you should speak up. ) So we'll hold the first one tomorrow! Brainstorming session Tuesdays; writing chat Thursdays. (Sound good?) I'm thinking times are central timezone, btw... not sure if that was mentioned. Elly--awesome. I don't think either of us will need to do much... I suspect the conversation will just sort of happen. But it never hurts to have someone there to be like, "Okay, who else needs help?" or, "What is your current project?" or, "Is there something writerly you've recently discovered?" every so often.
