General Rules & Guidelines of the Forum

Hello, all! We are so very happy you're here!

The idea for this forum is to give authors a place of mutual support where we can share and discuss writing. As you may notice by The Sanctuary, the forum has a Christian worldview. That doesn't mean we are exclusive; we welcome anyone and everyone who wishes to join! Please be respectful and understanding of the different faiths.

Rules and Guidelines!

• If you wouldn't say it in front of your grandmother, don't say it here. (In other words, please keep it clean.)
  
• Generally, stay on topic.
  
• Try not to double post. We won't jump down your throat if you forget, but unless it's been a few days it's better to edit your previous post. (This rule does not apply to the Journals section.)
  
• Critiques are not meant to be critical...stay kind. These pieces are close to the author's heart!
  
• Along those same lines, remember that everything posted here belongs to the author.
  
• Spam posts (advertisements) will be deleted without warning, at the discretion of the moderators. You are welcome to promote your business in your profile or when appropriate in another thread.
  
• Don't be afraid to post and make new threads! We promise we don't bite.

Something to keep in mind is that, while the Share Your Work boards, The Sanctuary, and the Journals board are hidden from guests, every other part of this forum can be seen by anyone. I also do not regulate who can create an account here. If it's something you would prefer only certain people see, please share it via PM instead of in one of the threads.
