"And you've never cooked before? You are ambitious! But let's see what we can find... er...do you have a recipe for any of that?"

(lol) He nodded, "Right here, 4 chicken breasts, I found a bag of chicken nuggets made of all white meat and figured it would work. A bottle of white wine, I'm not 21 so I can't buy wine yet so I grabbed a bottle of sprite. 8 carrots, I don't like anything orange so I thought tomatoes would work-" he pauses, "and then for the dessert it said I needed shortening, but I figured that vinegar would work."

Chrissy tried not to laugh. "I don't think substituting ingredients is the best idea. Come with me... I'll find you what you'll need."

He smiled gratefully, "Thanks" he took a step forward towards the main aisles, "Where to first?"

Mikie heard a bang. It sounded like someone falling down. He knew that sound only too well. He wanted to go help, but he didn't know which way to go. Why did Marietta have to send him by himself today, of all days?

Chrissy stopped walking and looked at him. "What kind of grocery stores do you shop at??"

He blushed and sighed, "How bad does it sound if I tell you that this is my first time shopping in a major grocery store?"

Chrissy shrugged. "There are worse things you could admit to. Flour is that white powdery stuff people have a fascination with getting all over themselves...and shortening is a pain to clean up, but terribly necessary so things don't stick to pans."

"Alright. Which aisle would that be on?" He asked, "I guess I should put up the flowers I have right now actually."

"Kateri," Benedict said with an almost dreamy smile, "I'm supposed to be surprising her tonight at her sister's place."
