Yes, and another book of his you must listen to (it comes on a CD) is The Composer is Dead. It is brilliant, hands down. The CD is more brilliant. Get it from the library and listen to it extensively. It is worth it. (is my brainwashing working??)

Hey Michaela, do you think you could put your posts together? Or I could...because double posting is against the forum rules. Not a big deal. ^_^ I haven't read those but I am reading "A tale dark and grimm." -It's hilarious! Quite well written too.

My three C.S. Lewis books came in the mail yesterday. I is happy. And now I'm off to read Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra and That Hideous Strength.

I read Perelandra for a class once. I enjoyed it but felt the character development wasn't fully there-- but I also realize it's right in the middle of a series, so I think if I'd read the first one first I wouldn't have had that problem. (We were all a little confused about why our professor assigned us that book...haha.)

I started reading the first Percy Jackson book and I really like it My older also picked up a Lord Peter Wimsey book from the library as well when she was there the other day and I plan on reading that as well.

I am a pretty big Percy Jackson fan. Rick Riordan's second series, the Kane Chronicles, aren't really worth reading unless you have very little else to read. They just aren't that great. But the followup to PJO is AMAZING, the Heroes of Olympus series. So yeah. I haven't read any Riordan really recently, but I really should...I haven't been doing much rereading lately, and I feel almost deprived.
